Learn to make a logo for your Church or religious organisation.

Start by creating a heart shape using custom shape tool.

Select subtract from shape area from the top bar and create a rectangular strip using rectangle shape tool.

With subtract from shape area still selected on top bar create a vertical rectangle to complete a cross over the heart shape. We'll call this layer "heartcross".

Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select Warp. Select Fisheye from the preset warp shapes at the top bar. Apply settings as shown.

Ctrl+Click the layer thumbnail to get the selection.

Press and hold Alt key. Using polygon lasso tool create selection of top left and bottom right shapes. Pressing Alt key will remove these areas from the selection.

Create a new layer and fill the selection with blue color.

Using custom shape tool create a 10 point star shape. Move this layer below all the layers in layer order in layer palette.

Duplicate layer. Press Ctrl+T and rotate the layer by 45°.

Select and merge both layers. From filter menu select Blur>>Radial Blur. Apply settings as shown.

Press Ctrl + F to reapply the filter with same settings.

Select "heartcross" layer. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Type in a Church name 9or whatever test you like) using a nice font and place it accordingly.
