Learn to draw a handy pair of scissors.

Start by creating a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.

Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp. Adjust nodes to get the shape as shown.



Enable add to shape area form the top bar. Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Press Ctrl+T. Right click the layer and select warp. Adjust nodes to get the shape as shown.



Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.







Ctrl+Click the layer thumbnail to get the selection. From select menu apply modify>>contract. Contract the selection by 2 pixels. Move the selection 2 pixels right.



Create a new layer and apply a black to white gradient in linear mode. Change the layer mode to screen.



Similarly create the other blade.



Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangular shape tool.



Enable add to shape area form the top bar. Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool.



Enable subtract form shape area from the top bar. Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool inside the first ellipse.



Change the color to orange.



Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.







Duplicate the layer for the opposing blade.



Create a circle using elliptical shape tool. See how it's starting to take shape.



Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown.



Once you're happy with the settings, your end product should look similar to this.
